Welcome to

Bed and breakfast with a warm and cosy atmosphere located in a picturesque area next to one of Iceland’s best known waterfalls, Skogafoss and near the famous Eyjafjallaj kull Volcano. The convenient location next to the ring road (route 1) is ideal for sightseeing in central South Iceland and hiking in the remarkable mountainous landscape shaped through the ages by fire and ice.

The hotel offers three types of rooms which includes sixteen Double or twin room. Triple room which is one double bedded bed and 1 single bedded bed. Then we got two family rooms with one double bedded bed and a bunk bed. For better layouts of the rooms you can go to Rooms and look at pictures.

Buffet breakfast is included in the rate. The hotel and restaurant are open all year round.

There are all in all 19 rooms in Hotel Skogafoss, 2 Family Rooms, 1 triple room, 4 double rooms Rooms and 12 twin rooms that can be changed to double rooms.

All of our rooms feature WI-FI, electronic lock key system, floor heating and fully equipped bathrooms.

We have a restaurant that is open all year around between 11:00 and 21:00.

The restaurant, which is also open for non-resident guests, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as light meals throughout the day. The veranda offers a fantastic view of the waterfall to the north as well as views towards the west and south.
