This hotel could not be better placed. Right beside the Skogafoss Waterfall. Had a room that looked straught at the waterfall. What a scene to wake up to. Staff were helpful and food in the resturant atdinner and breakfast was good, Right beside Route 1 (Ring Road) could not be better

Excellent overall place to stay, given amazing views, good food, overall top 3 places in regards to value where i have stayed in Iceland. Kind staff. Don't mind too much on the water smell (perhaps the water comes from a geyser, hence the bad odor).

We stayed one night at this hotel in May but would have loved to stay longer. It was a little daunting driving in because it is at the parking area for Skogafoss Falls with plenty of traffic and crowds. The hotel actually proved to be quiet and very comfortable. And the view of the falls and access to the falls is unbeatable. We had a room with a view of the falls and the restaurant has full views of it as well. The room was very comfortable and modern. We had dinner at the hotel and it was very good - and reasonably priced for Iceland. The breakfast was basic - cereal, toast, fruit - but the view made up for any shortcomings. The staff was very busy but friendly and professional. One note - the hostel is right next to the hotel. If your room is not on the falls side, your view will be the hostel building.

We’ve visited as a family of 4 and shared a triple room which was ok for us.

The location is top, there is nothing to complain about and the view of the waterfall, which is within walking distance, is great.

The equipment of the rooms is really minimalistic, in the bathroom there is no shower with wall but only a curtain and the water goes to the floor. There is a hair dryer at the reception on request.
We had a bad view directly to a barrack-like house opposite.

The staff is partly very nice, but some employees don't feel addressed at all. The tables at the breakfast table are not set, it is complete self-service.

The breakfast is not bad but also not very exciting. All in all I find the it overpriced. The money is not worth it, we would not have booked a second time.

We stayed here as part of a driving tour of the south of the island and took advantage of the location to hike above the falls. The waterfall itself is breathtaking and the paths behind it are well worth a walk.
The hotel itself is very good, the rooms are comfortable and clean - our room was a bit further along the main corridor so we didn't have a view of the falls. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The attached restaurant also acts as bar and breakfast area and the menu is hearty and simple. Breakfast was good (continental) too.
